What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ is typically 5 metric tons per specification, but we accommodate mixed-container orders for distributors and project orders for contractors.

What is the production lead time?

Standard production lead time is 15-25 days, plus 18-30 days sea freight to Indonesian ports (Tanjung Priok, Tanjung Perak, Belawan, Makassar).

Which payment terms do you accept?

We accept T/T, L/C, D/A, D/P and O/A. Long-term framework agreements are welcome.

Do you provide Mill Test Certificates?

Yes, every batch ships with an MTC per EN 10204 3.1, including chemical composition and mechanical test results.

Can you ship to my port?

We ship FOB Tianjin or CIF to Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), Belawan (Medan), Makassar and other Indonesian destinations.

Is third-party inspection available?

Yes, SGS, BV or TUV inspection can be arranged at origin or destination.

Can products be customized?

Yes, we produce to your exact OD, wall thickness, length, grade and surface treatment requirements.

Do you provide SNI certification support for Indonesian projects?

Yes. While we manufacture to international standards (ASTM, API, EN, JIS), we supply full documentation packs – Mill Test Certificates per EN 10204 3.1, heat numbers, chemical and mechanical test results – that support SNI certification and local authority approvals for Indonesian projects.

Can I order mixed specifications in one container?

Absolutely. For distributor and project orders we consolidate different sizes, grades and even product families in a single 20ft or 40ft container, with each specification clearly marked and documented. This reduces your freight cost per ton significantly and simplifies customs clearance.

Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. Small samples of most products ship by international courier (DHL, FedEx or UPS) within 5-7 working days, and the sample cost is credited against your first bulk order. We also offer FOB, CIF, CFR and EXW terms, with most Indonesian buyers using CIF to Tanjung Priok or Tanjung Perak.

Do you work with local distributors or agents in Indonesia?

How to Place a Steel Order with Us

Ordering from Sino East Steel is a straightforward five-step process. First, send your enquiry with the full product specification – OD, wall thickness, length, grade, surface treatment and quantity. Our technical team responds with a formal quotation within 24 hours, including the applicable standard (ASTM, API, EN or JIS), the mill test certificate commitment and delivery terms. After you confirm the order, we issue a proforma invoice and begin production within 5 days. Production typically takes 15-25 days depending on quantity and specification, and we provide weekly production photos and progress updates. Once ready, goods are packed for export, inspected by SGS, BV or TUV if requested, and shipped FOB Tianjin or CIF to your port.

Logistics and Customs for Indonesian Buyers

Most Indonesian buyers choose CIF terms to Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), Belawan (Medan) or Makassar. Sea freight from Tianjin to these ports takes 18-30 days. Our export documentation includes the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and the Mill Test Certificate per EN 10204 3.1, which supports smooth customs clearance and SNI certification. For urgent projects we can arrange air freight for small quantities or split shipments so that part of your order arrives earlier while the rest follows by sea.

Quality Assurance and Inspection

Every production batch is tested for chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy and surface quality before packing. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV can be arranged at origin or at destination, and our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. Galvanized products are tested for zinc coating weight per ASTM A90 / SNI requirements, while pipes are hydrostatically tested where the standard requires it. We keep full traceability from heat number to final product for every shipment, so the documentation always matches the physical goods.

Pricing and Payment

Steel prices are quoted per metric ton based on the current raw material market. Our pricing is FOB Tianjin or CIF to your port, and we update quotations weekly to reflect LME and domestic Chinese market movements. We accept T/T with a 30% deposit and 70% balance against copy of shipping documents, or an L/C at sight for larger orders. Distributors and long-term partners can apply for open account (O/A) terms after a credit review. Every quotation clearly states the standard, grade, coating, dimensions and delivery period so there are no surprises when the vessel arrives.
